Drafting Chairs

Drafting chairs are so defined as originally being configured for draftsmen, who drafted large format plans on long sloping desks, and needed a higher chair to do so.

These days drafting chair is a generic term for a chair fitted with a high reach gas lift and a foot-ring for working at bench height. Most benches are 900 mm high and our range of drafting chairs are suitable for this. Foot-rings are separately height adjustable up and down the gas lift stem. Different modular configurations are also available on request, to meet specific workplace requirements.
